1. Set fars de Menorca / Seven lighthouses of Menorca
Far de punta Nati (1971)
Situat a l'extrem nord-oest de l'illa, al terme de Ciutadella. Un far que pateix forts vents, actualment està deshabitat i és el primer que té un sistema de generació d'energia eòlica.
Punta Nati lighthouse is situated at the northwest end of the island, in the municipality of Ciutadella. This lighthouse suffers strong winds and is the first to have a wind power generation system. It was opened in 1913.
Far de sa Farola (1862)
Situat a Ciutadella, just a la bocana del port. El primer far electrificat de Menorca.
This lighthouse is situated in Ciutadella, at the mouth of the port. It is the first electrified lighthouse in Menorca.
Far d'Artrutx (1858)
Situat a l'extrem sud-oest de l'illa, al terme de Ciutadella. Un far petit, però amb característica una torre de 34 metres de franges negres.
This lighthouse is situated at the southwestern end of the island. It is a small lighthouse with a characteristic tower with black stripes and 34 m of hight.
Far de Sant Felip (1851 de construcció del far original)
És el més antic de Menorca, també és conegut com a far de Sant Carles i està situat al port de Maó. És un far petit de 10 metres d'alçada i té un sofisticat sistema de llums per telecontrol. També és conegut com a Ràdiofar de Maó.
It is the oldest lighthouse in Menorca, also known as Sant Carles lighthouse and is situated near the port of Maó. It is a small lighthouse 10 meters high and has a sophisticated remote control lighting system. It is also known as Ràdiofar de Maó.
Far de l'illa de l'Aire (1860)
Situat a l'illot de l'illa de l'Aire que correspon al terme de Sant Lluís, situat al sud-est de Menorca. La torre fa 38 metres d'alçada i té una cúpula aeronàutica de vidre, única a Menorca.
Illa de l'aire lighthouse stands on the islet of the island of Aire, situated in the southeast of Menorca. The tower is 38 meters high and has a glass aeronautical dome unique in Menorca.
Far de Cavalleria (1857)
Situat al nord, al terme de Mercadal. La part més alta del far està a 95 metres sobre el nivell del mar,
Located in the north, in the municipality of Mercadal. The highest part of the lighthouse is 95 meters above sea level.
Far de Favàritx (1922)
Es troba al parc natural de s'Albufera des Grau, al nord de Menorca. Un dels fars més famosos de l'illa pel seu peculiar dibuix helicoïdal de la franja negra.
It is situated in the natural park of s'Albufera des Grau, in the north of Menorca. This lighthouse is one of the most famous lighthouses for this marvellous situation and this peculiar black spiral band.
